The Kathmandu Sacred Circuit is a cross-border pilgrimage into one of the world's greatest concentrations of living sacred sites — the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal. Home to seven UNESCO World Heritage Zones, the valley holds within its span some of the most ancient and continuously worshipped temples in the Hindu and Buddhist world.
Our 5-day journey is anchored by Pashupatinath, the most sacred Shiva shrine in the Hindu world outside of India — a sprawling temple city on the banks of the Bagmati River where sacred cremations, Sanskrit recitations, and the presence of ash-smeared sadhus create an atmosphere of raw spiritual power. From here we move to Swayambhunath (the Monkey Temple), Boudhanath — the largest stupa in the world — and the ancient Durbar Squares of Patan and Bhaktapur.
This is a pilgrimage for seekers who feel called beyond borders — to stand at Pashupatinath's eternal flame, to walk the circumambulation path of Boudhanath at dawn, and to offer flowers at the golden shrines of the Newari goddess tradition. Nepal is not foreign — it is the other lung of Sanatan Dharma.
