The Jyotirlinga Express is a concentrated pilgrimage circuit designed for devoted Shaivites who wish to complete darshan at multiple Jyotirlingas — the twelve sites where Lord Shiva manifested as infinite columns of light — within a focused 4-day journey. Our curated route visits Trimbakeshwar near Nashik, Bhimashankar in the Sahyadri hills, and Grishneshwar near Aurangabad (the closest Jyotirlinga to the Ellora caves).

Each Jyotirlinga carries its own character and legend. Trimbakeshwar, at the source of the Godavari River, houses a rare three-faced Shivalinga representing Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. Bhimashankar sits amid the dense Sahyadri tiger reserve, its temple dating to the 18th century Nagara style. Grishneshwar, the last of the twelve Jyotirlingas geographically, is among the most architecturally refined — built by Ahilyabai Holkar in the 18th century.

The circuit also includes a visit to the Ellora Caves — the world's largest rock-cut monastery-temple complex — making this journey a meeting of spiritual devotion and ancient architectural wonder.

"Where Shiva appears as light, the seeker dissolves into brightness — and the journey becomes its own destination."
